In this video, Elizabeth Gilbert was vulnerable. She opened up a lot about parts of her life which was about her success of her book; Eat, Pray, Love.
She then continued to tell us about how the Romans, back then, did not believe that creativity came from human beings but a goddess of mystical divine entity. Which was referred as a 'Genius'. This 'Genius' would assist/help us to come up with creative ideas. She also explained that each and everyone of us have our very one creative geniuses and that is I believe, is actually god.
Elizabeth also revealed that she thought that her very successful book; eat, pray, love, was going to be the worst book ever written and she wanted to dump the project of completing the book. But then she reflected that writing was and still is her passion. She then said "you never happened to believed in the first place that the most extraordinary aspects of your being came from you." In other words, we often do not believe that the things that we do that is/was brilliant did not come from ourselves.
To conclude, she was trying to reach out to us that we should always do what we love and just be us. We do not have to be afraid of anything nor feel daunted and just stay sane.
